PWL 023: Rising Above Illness | Tess Dunford, Don’t Be A Doormat

  • December 6, 2016

I can’t believe this is the final episode for 2016! Today, I’m excited to bring you my chat with Wellington, NZ based Tess Dunford, who owns the fun business – Don’t Be A Doormat.

Tess was originally working at her dream job in advertising at Saatchi & Saatchi, when she developed Chronic Fatigue and had to make the hard decision to quit.

But Tess didn’t give up. Far from it! Her illness sparked inspiration for a business idea, and ‘Don’t Be A Doormat’ was born!

Tess’s positivity, motivation and commitment was incredibly inspiring. I know you’re going to learn so much from this awesome girl.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE:

How to turn around a seemingly hopeless situation.
Hope for sufferers of Chronic Fatigue.
How you can create a business by filling a need or gap in the market
Powerful inspiration for anyone suffering an illness.
Breaking into a new overseas market.
Copyrighting tips.
Social media advertising.
Podcast recommendations.
The importance of leaning into your struggle and not fighting.
Why all progress begins with a brave decision.
Perfection is unattainable.
