Today, I’m talking to Auckland based Jordan Rondel from The Caker.
Jordan runs an incredibly successful cake business, employing 7 staff. In addition to making fresh cakes made to order, she’s created cake box mixes, writes a regular column for a newsletter, has a retail space, offers baking classes and demonstrations.
If that wasn’t enough, she’s a published author with 2 books!
It’s easy to tell that Jordan works hard. It was a theme throughout our chat and Jordan shares how she keeps the passion alive for her business, even when things get really hard.
Jordan also shares openly about some personal struggles she has in business, the less glamorous parts, that don’t get talked about too often.
