PWL 017: BECOMING A LEADER IN YOUR MARKET | GEORGIE KAY, GEORGEOUS

  • June 7, 2016

Hi guys! Welcome back to Season 2 of the Planted With Light Podcast!

I’m so excited to be back in this lovely space that I’ve honestly missed so much.

Since posting about becoming a Mother, my struggle with work/life/Mum balance, so many of you reached out to share such incredible wisdom and insight, I just want to say – thank you so much! I’m convinced the cliche you always hear ‘being a Mum is the hardest job in the world’ is true. I’m grateful to have your support, it means so much to me.

Okay, on to the first episode of Season 2! Today’s chat is with the gorgeous motivated women behind Georgeous Occasions, Georgie Kay.

In this episode Georgie shares her story behind Georgeous, and how she developed her brand to be a market leader in the Melbourne styling arena.

Georgie shares openly and honestly about mistakes they’ve made in the past, dealing with disappointed clients, mistakes with advertising in the wrong places, and how they have handled those mistakes.

We talk about how she maintains cashflow running a seasonal business. The decision to teach other creative entrepreneurs and her attitude to sharing knowledge with others.

Georgie was on maternity leave (with her 5 week old twins!) when we recorded this episode, so we chat about how she is managing the juggle of family and work life.

Georgie is a passionate, driven women with so much wisdom and insight to share. I know you’re going to love her!
