Today, I’m talking with Auckland based owner Milly Nolan of Mildred&Co, New Zealand’s boutique online gift store and wedding registry.
In this episode, Milly talks about how she came to own her own business after studying law and working in magazines.
We talk about her decision to jump straight into Mildred & Co, and why it was a good thing that she didn’t deliberate too much on her idea. Milly shares how it’s hard for her to accept help, but when she has outsourced parts of her work, it’s actually grown the business.
Milly is currently on maternity leave, and we talk about the struggle of juggling family and business life.
Milly has filled a gaping hole in the market of wedding gift registry’s in NZ. I only wish Mildred & Co was around when I got married in 2008! It was so lovely to chat with her, I hope you enjoy this episode!
